Dream Yacht Charters base is located in Angra dos Reis in Marina Verolme. The base is a few hours drive south of Rio de Janeiro. The nearest airport is Rio de Janeiro-Galeão International Airport. It takes approx. about 2 - 2.5 hours by bus or car from the airport to the base.

Transport

Bus: There are regular buses between Rio de Janeiro and Angra dos Reis. The bus stops at the main entrance to Marina Verolme and from there are approx. 500 meters to the marina. The bus company is called Costa Verde Transports. Remember to tell the bus driver that you must get off at Marina Verolme.

Private: Dream Yacht Charter works with the Cesar Tour, which uses cars with room for 4 people or minibuses for 10 people. If desired, private driving can be arranged. From the airport a car costs approx. 145 GBP and a minibus approx 155 GBP.

Weather

The climate at Angra dos Reis and Paraty is largely the same all year round. The prevailing wind comes from the east with a cool breeze of about 8 - 14 knots.

In the warmer months from November to March, rainstorms of short duration with wind gusts of up to 25 knots may occur. However, they do not affect the movement of the sea and waves.
