Holidays in Aquitaine

The scenery in the south of France has inspired artists for centuries. The slopes with vines and plantations of plums face the rivers - and the luxurious foie gras, truffles, and wild mushrooms and especially Bordeaux red wines, are just some of the region's many gastronomical specialities.

On the Garonne-canal - sail from adorable Le Mas-D'agenais through the wine village of Buzet through Romanesque arches to Agen. See the abbey in Moissac and head for Montech, which in turn opens up for sailing on the river Tarn and up to Montauban.

On the river Baise and the lower part of the River Lot you will find enchanting scenery and medieval market places, paper mills, impressive Moorish castles and charming cities are known as bastide fortress-cities- Vianne, Nérac, Condom and Villeneuve are a few prime examples of these.

  • Sail from 4 bases - return or one-way.
  • Depending on the water level of the river Garonne, it may be possible to cross over the River Lot (with a pilot and charges are applicable)
  • During periods of high or low water levels in rivers can sail area to be delimited.
  • The area is good for both Canal and river navigation.
