Late arrival
In case of late arrival, the base must be notified.

Check-out
The boat must be in port the night before check-out. The boat must be left and handed in no later than 09:00 on the day of check-out.

1.5 km from the base there is a UNIC (supermarket) where you can buy all the necessary supplies. City center is about 2 km from the base, here there are many different shops and stores.

You can install the app Waterkaarten, where you can get an overview of the area, as well as opening times for locks, bridges, etc. Download here.

Especially about the area
Do you wanna sail to Bruges? There are special opening hours for bridges / locks on the way to Bruges - typically you have to start early in the day to get through.

If you are sailing into France:

• Le Boat cannot offer assistance should problems arise.
• We recommend this only for experienced sailors as Le Boat does not have maps of the area.
• You will have to pay for a vignette if you cross the border
