Boat rentals in Malta, Comino and Gozo

Birgu is the most important maritime town in Malta and has for more than 1,000 years been the centre of the island's seafaring traditions. Already in the Middle Ages, the harbour contained facilities such as dry docks, magazine depots and was, above all, a safe harbour where merchants from other maritime states such as Genoa and Spain traded and brought supplies. Everything was well protected by the fortress that was erected at the entrance to the port by Birgu cape. Today, Birgu serves as an important port for many sailing tourists visiting Malta.

You plan your sailing route yourselves from this lovely base. Sail to the three islands of Gozo, Comino and Comitto and enjoy the pristine beaches and caves. Gozo is the second largest of the islands - full of character and charm. There is a good marina at Mgarr Harbour, or you can anchor in one of the beach coves.
